MWF BOARD OF DIRECTORS STATEMENT ON PRESIDENT CENA
Sunday, June 5th, 2011 * 4:12AM

The Millennium Wrestling Federation Board of Directors has released the following statement in regards to MWF President John Cena Sr.:

The entire Millennium Wrestling Federation family would like thank President John Cena Sr. for nearly four years of tireless service to fans across New England and around the world through online initiatives, partnering with our team to expand the BOSTONWRESTLING.COM Supersite.  He was named President in October 2007 after two years as a manager of a faction of active athletes on our roster.

While thousands of fans have enjoyed Mr. Cena's work for the MWF's outstanding in-ring product, for no reason other than common good, he helped structure a giving organization that has worked with and raised money for the Special Olympics, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Cauliflower Alley Club, Big Brothers, the Boys & Girls Club, RAINN and numerous other non-profit groups, expanding our charitable structure already in place.  The "Keep The Kids Off The Streets" campaign we're so proud of has continued to grow, and the MWF has thrived in North Carolina under his leadership.

The role of the President of the MWF is to set the standard for every athlete and staff member.  Despite all of the good John Cena Sr. has done, his "Johnny Fabulous"-like antics do not follow Millennium Wrestling Federation proto call.  Instances such as allowing Dylan Kage's outrageous videos to air online and on MWF television to attract viewers and web-site visits, his public feud with John Layfield's Uprising (whom the company has an on-going business relationship with), and putting himself in professional wrestling matches is not conducive to the company's expectations of a President;  they can no longer be tolerated.

John Cena Sr.'s work will never be forgotten and live on;  his work will always be valued and his kindness as a human being will always be appreciated.  The father-like role he played to many of our superstars and staff will also be extremely missed.  The Board will honor each contract he has signed off on, whether we agree with their content or not.  While his tenure as President is over, the door to his home in the Millennium Wrestling Federation will always remain open in the proper setting.

After speaking with legal counsel, similar to Todd Hanson in June 2009, we have extended MWF President John Cena Sr. the opportunity to say farewell to his friends, fans and in-house family on a special, final June edition of "MWF Xtra:  The John Cena Sr. Show" to be taped Sunday, June 12th, 2011.  Beginning Monday, June 13th, the MWF will be operated under the auspices of the MWF Board of Directors and candidates are being interviewed for a new General Manager position within the organization;  Mr. Cena has indicated that his ownership stock will be available via private sale at fair market value (at his discretion).

Thank you again, Mr. Cena.
