MWF X:  10TH ANNIVERSARY BASH BLOG by Dan Mirade
Monday, September 19th, 2011 * 2:19AM

SEPTEMBER 19TH - with a heavy heart, closing out our MWF X 10th Anniversary Bash that felt more like a death than a celebration:

Dawn of a new decade = Low Ki becoming the new Millennium Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Championship

Devastating = Linda Mirade casting the deciding vote to move the company to North Carolina in April 2012

Disgusting = "Stalker" Dylan Kage presenting the remains of Franklin D. Churchill to Paul Bearer

Shocking = John Cena Sr.'s "transitional" return and ruining a night meant for the fans

Violent conclusion = myself and Kage in an Unsanctioned Street Fight at SOUL SURVIVOR VIII in our final Boston-area event March 24th

SEPTEMBER 15TH - another "chapter" of the event has come to an end, that being the pre-sales.  I'm sure fans have their reasons, but I'll never understand why more people don't take advantage of the VIP Packages.  Just think, if you ordered a couple of months ago, you could have had the house for only $50!!  Even at the regular price, you save so much based upon everything you get. . .I don't know, I'd be all over it if I was a fan. . .

For those fans that helped the cause and ordered their tickets in advance - thank you, thank you, thank you!!  Your support is appreciated very much and really helps what we're trying to do. . .every order is a step in the right direction. . . .

As our thanks to you, EVERY pre-sale order has been upgraded - free of charge - to a front row seat. . .we try to be the nice guys : ) .....all reserved front row seats will have your name on them to make life easier. . .just look for your name after the fanfest if you're taking part in it. . .

Now that we're done with pre-sales, all of those VIP Packages can be filled, we can start to type up signage for the event, etc., etc., etc. (i.e. another long night). . .

PromoMania is going to be with us in the vendor area Saturday night with a tremendous collection of promo photos. . .stop by and check them out. . .older promo photos are getting harder and harder to find, you might find a good one. . .

Don't forget that tickets for MWF X go on-sale at Memorial Hall (cash only - no ATM at the venue) at 5PM Saturday afternoon.  If you arrive earlier than that, please wait in line outside. . .people knocking at the door and asking questions that are available right here only slow things down as we cannot open the doors until the police officer on duty arrives.  We want to get everyone in as quickly and efficiently as possible, so whether you have tickets or a VIP Package waiting for you, or need to buy your tickets, please wait until 5PM. . .very much appreciated. . .

Will attempt to "Tweet" as much of the weekend as possible beginning Friday morning. . . .usually we start off hot, and then when things get hectic. . .it slows down. . . what are you going to do, the price is right. . .if you want to see what's going down at MWF X itself, simply Be There Live!!  Shut the mouths of those that want us to move to the Carolina's for good. . .there's going to be a lot of behind the scenes movers and shakers there in person. . . what goes on in the locker room could be as interesting in the ring.  One thing we can guarantee is that the action will be tremendous from bell to bell and you'll make some memories that will last a lifetime if you take part in the meet & greet. . .

SEPTEMBER 12TH - the body isn't agreeing with the mind's mission. . . .almost felt guilty writing a BLOG yesterday, but in a sad way, there's almost a connection between our anniversary every year and that of 9/11. . .we'll always have the "big" anniversaries together, which kills the excitement for a couple of days. . . .

With that said, so much going on.  Just got back from a staff meeting at Memorial Hall for both MWF X and SOUL SURVIVOR VIII March 24th.  Set-up for the venue will change a little bit.  I'm a huge fan of how the pre-event meet & greet is set up for those fans that are coming in for autographs and posed photos, the new system we put in place back in January is a much more organized winner, IMO (it was my idea, so what else am I going to say??).  The "grunt work" begins early Friday morning into Saturday. . .a couple of long days, then when you want to crumple up into a ball and rest, you've got Studio Sunday!!

Yesterday, enjoyed the closing of the pool & hot tub with a BBQ and more than a couple adult spirits to make the back feel oh-so-good.  Continued to work on "the binder" that contains anything and everything related to the event, until tomorrow night when the pre-orders close out, then there's 100 more things to do, 100 things you try not to forget.  Mailed out the printing order for 8x10 photos available at the event, the Vince McMahon VIP raffle, the autographed Jay Lethal photo for fans that purchased VIP Packages prior to August 31st, merchandise coupons, organizing airport runs, the list goes on and on and on.  The prep work for this event has been outstanding from everyone involved, which we hope translates to the best live event experience you've ever had at a regional wrestling card. . .gotta ask - did you get those tickets yet?!?

SEPTEMBER 11TH - there's a lot of activity going on here in the MWF with just six days to go until our 10th anniversary event, but nothing bigger than the significance of this day.  I almost wanted to avoid adding a BLOG at all to the site today, but with it being the 10th anniversary of one of the most historical days of our lives and in US history, with it happening just days before our first live event in history, I didn't know how to avoid it. . .

Everyone has their story - "the call," seeing it on TV, etc.  If you know me, you know I like to sleep until noon-ish, wrestling turned me into a night owl. . . someone woke me up after the first plane hit, thinking it was just some wild accident.  I had the TV on half asleep when the second plane hit, and like all of you, a strange, once in a lifetime type feeling started going through your body.  Once the information about planes leaving Boston hit the news, that was it.  Two people of the closest people in my life worked at Logan Airport. . .I didn't know if the planes were with that airline or if they were working that day, but I lit up their phones, beepers (remember those bad boys??), etc., until I knew they were OK.  One didn't start work until noon time and was blocked by the police as Logan had turned into a crime scene.  To be honest, I don't even remember what happened with the other person, but they were OK, so I went back to being glued to the TV set. . . .

Not that I really "wanted" to see it, but where was the footage of the attack on Washington??  Why wasn't there more of a mess in PA??  When the tower finally went down in NY, it looked like the way a casino would be blown up out in Vegas, as the towers were built to be able to take the impact of a plane. . .once the tremendous CBS documentary came out of the guys taping NYC firefighters came out on DVD, the ONLY part edited out was when a firefighters said "it almost looks like bombs going off the way they're falling."  That always interested me, and it led to me watching one of our "Kevin Dunn's" conspiracy DVD's that presents a "theory" that I hope isn't true.  I'm open minded.  The Michael Moore documentary was an eye opener as well, with President Bush sitting in a elementary school classroom reading a children's book about a goat while being informed that the country was under attack looking like an idiot.  How could these planes be in the air lingering for quite sometime when recently an innocent person flying a small plane had two planes on each side of him ready to shoot him down when he accidentally wandered into a no fly zone within minutes??  Whatever the real story is, (and like most stories of this nature, I'm sure there's more than we know that may or may not come out years or decades down the road), I think every single person in America, and even around the world, was affected that day. . . the thousands of people that lost their lives. . . .every family member of those that died that think about them EVERY day, not just on 9/11 anniversaries. . .fathers, mothers, sons, daughters. . . .I always wondered what went through those poor people's minds as they knew the planes were about to hit.  Do you just hold onto the seat in front of you while you're ready to fly into a building??

I would have liked to have been on Flight 93. . . I loved their balls, their American spirit. . . they knew their final destination wasn't some field in PA but that their own death was likely. . . while I'm sure some were hurt or even killed trying to stop the terrorists, imagine how many more hundreds or thousands could be dead right now if they weren't brave enough to try to stand up and do something about it??  I would have liked to have been on that plane to try to do something. . .if I was going to die, I would have liked to have helped those people with guts we'll never know. . .I'm glad that Linda Mirade and the little man weren't in my life at that point, or I would have gone crazy with worry. . . I get worried when it snows out and her getting into a car accident, never mind something like 9/11. . .

I was glued to the TV and internet all day like everyone else. . . wondering what was going to happen next.  I remember having strange dreams soon thereafter of cars falling out of the sky as a terrorist attack while on my walks (yes, before my accidents I was an avid walker, usually four plus miles a day). . . .as 9/11 went on, "wrestling fever" struck my brain. . .we were a little over two weeks away from our debut event, THE BIG BANG, from Wonderland Greyhound Park in Revere, MA. . .thousands of dollars were put into that night already, between deposits, airline tickets, the venue, etc.. . . the networks were talking about airports being shut down, flights grounded. . . .I can only imagine how frustrating it was for the boys and how scared their families must have been every time they went on the road, when I flew soon after 9/11, you were talking about a two hour wait to get through security.  If I was still doing anything with WWE at that point, I would have went insane, as I have zero tolerance for airports and waiting for no reason to begin with.  I vividly remember an incident in Tampa coming home for Thanksgiving after Survivor Series 2000, which was my first "night" there and brought friends along thinking I was a big shot and got them comped for the PPV.  Back then, in Tampa, you'd take a train to your terminal after checking your bags in, and go through security once you got off .  There was a line like I'd never seen before with people almost unable to get off train to be scanned by security. . . everyone was starting to get pissed as almost every single person that went through the line beeped when going through security. . .as a "veteran" flyer by human standards, I knew they had the damn frequency too high, and when it was my turn, I UNLEASHED on the security guard.  I won't use the language I used in Tampa International that afternoon, but I'll just say I got a pretty big pop from the rest of the folks waiting to get through. . .and then karma came back to bite me as my flight was delayed six hours.  If I had done that in a post-9/11 world, I likely would have been escorted away by police. . .

Talk about stress, my God. . .I was a 20 year old kid at that point (I just erased a "behind the scenes" paragraph about our debut event itself, as I'll save that for an Inside The MWF column later this week). . .late 9/11 into 9/12, I was worried. . .what was going to happen with this event??  That might seem un-American in a way, but I think anyone in those shoes would eventually fall into that train of thought after the shock from the attacks of the day settled in.  Would people want to come out of their homes for a regional wrestling event??  After 9/11, we had a week of anthrax scares killing more people (funny how that just "stopped" after just a few days).  I didn't want to go out of the house. . . .as we got closer and closer to the event, I got more worried by the day, but in the end, we pulled our first event off just fine. . .the crowd was good by regional wrestling standards, but I'll always wonder how well that event would have done if it wasn't for 9/11. . . we must have done a pretty good job that night, as we had an even bigger crowd at our second event back there in December 2001.  I'm proud to say that we were able to raise some money for the Red Cross the night of BIG BANG. . . it was something we never planned on and more work, and being a naive kid I didn't even include the donation as a tax write off, I just did it out of the spirit of good will hoping it would help people that needed it.  . . .I hope we can do more of the same at MWF X with the charity auctions we have lined up for you to win for your home. . .

You know what's "funny"??  Out of the dozens of times I've been to NY since 9/11, I've never visited Ground Zero. . .I'm not quite sure how to get there for one, but it wouldn't be hard to find it. . .Pat Doyle's down there today getting some footage for his own collection, I'm interested to see what he comes up with. . . .it's hard to believe a decade has gone by, how much has gone on in my own life. . .in some ways, it feels like it was just a couple of weeks ago. . . in other ways, it seems like it was a lot longer than just ten years. . . .

Usually I wrap up an entry with something clever for you to get your tickets now (and yes, please get them - online VIP Packages and discounted floor seat offers expire Tuesday night), but today, more important than any wrestling event, it's GOD Bless America!!

* * * * *

SEPTEMBER 9TH - are you nervous yet??  I hope not, save that for us!!  Excitement is building, MWF X is just eight days away fans. . .if you haven't yet, please do yourselves and all of us here in the Millennium Wrestling Federation a favor and get your VIP Packages and tickets TODAY!!  What you guys don't realize is just how many thousands of dollars go into this event before even one single ticket is sold. . .if more people bought early in advance, we'd be able to bring you more superstars. . . .another reason why there's a large faction of the office staff that wants to see us go south.  All I know is that Dan Mirade will never spend an entire summer in North Carolina. . .it's a great place, I love it there, but when we were there in August, I can't think of a time I've ever been so hot in my life (this coming from someone that lived in Florida half the year for the better part of a decade). . . .we love you guys. . . outside of one or two people, even those that are pushing for the NC move really do WANT to stay in Boston. . . it's our home, it's where our roots are. . . .that fight is just as big as the intense in-ring competition you will see next Saturday night live at Memorial Hall in Melrose!!  The aftermath September 18th could be just as interesting as MWF X the night before.  Anyway's, enough "wrestling politics" for now. . .

What is Dylan Kage up to in regards to this "Halloween gift" for that slob Paul Bearer??  A gift certificate to Popeye's chicken that he writes about so much on Facebook??  I don't have a clue what kind of a Halloween gift he'll be giving to Bearer in mid-September, but they could be the family from Rob Zombie's "Land Of 1,000 Corpses" (Sid Haig actually resembles Commissioner Von Johnson a little bit).  The Trifecta of Terror has a war to deal with when they step into the ring with "The Monster" Abyss, "Demon" Luis Ortiz & Todd Hanson, managed by a man just as evil as Bearer in the legendary Ox Baker in the "Drag Me To Hell" co-main event

The aforementioned Paul Bearer interview from this past Sunday is online now. . .

There are indeed going to be more charity auctions where you decide which charity the money goes towards if you are the winner. . .win rare, autographed items and help out a great non-profit organization, many of whom will be joining us live at MWF X. . .in our ten years, some of the most satisfying moments we've ever had have come from the work we've done with / for groups like Big Brothers, Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish, etc.  When we're able to make those kids smile, it makes the stress that goes along with this gig even more worthwhile. . . .

Jay Freddie unfortunately will not be with us at MWF X, which is a disappointment.  He claims there was some kind of double booking issue and the email informing us was waiting in his drafts folder. . . that's frustrating on our end, as we lose a quality athlete, but having to spend the time re-working the line-up so late in the game gets to you, whether it's one of the featured superstars you wasted money on an airline ticket for (we've got two unused plane tickets for this event, $600 down the toilet), when you give your word, you give your word. . .keep a date book. . .I have one in my cell phone. . .granted, I have no idea how to use it, but it's there.  In almost 18 years in the world of wrestling, I have not missed one single event I was scheduled to be at, not one.  In the old CWA days, I missed my junior and senior year proms, even my graduation.  Why??  Because the business called.  In the MWF era, I've never double-booked myself to be two places at the same time when we've done things with WWE and TNA.  Your word is your bond, and if your word doesn't mean much, you're not going very far. . .oh, do I wish I ran a wrestling school sometimes, even if I couldn't teach moves, there are so many other things I'd like to tattoo into the minds of those trying to enter the sport.  This isn't an attack on Jay Freddie by any stretch of the means, he's a good man and I'm a fan of his work ethic, but damn does it get to you after awhile (or a decade). . .the roster should be happy, it gives someone else a chance to step up and make an impact. .

Learned we'll be having the first of it's kind pre-event staff gathering next Friday night. . .that should be . . .interesting. . .

* * * * *

SEPTEMBER 7TH - sometimes it feels like the stress level cannot decrease. . .in trying to get ready for the biggest, most exiting, and literally, most important event in MWF history, had the "luxury" of the internet, telephone and cable going out for the second time in a week.  A massive $7 credit was issued for the four days. . .very happy to see it come to life again this morning as my 10PM start time at MWF Studios wasn't expected nor desired. . .but that's the kind of sacrifice you have to make in this sport sometimes. . .

Another question was how wide spread was the outage??  Some local fans didn't see it.  Some fans did, it all depended on the area.  Comcast said that the commercial ran.  I understood that completely, but when you invest thousands of dollars in these commercials, you want to make sure that the cable is actually WORKING for fans to be able to see said commercial.  (Deep breath)

Was very impressed with the latest member of the MWF staff Charlie Taylor making the round-trip visit to MWF Studios Sunday from Augusta, ME, leaving right after his day job and I imagine not getting much sleep before he started work Monday.  That's what we like.  Hunger.  Desire.  As our "Kevin Dunn" said, you can get someone to drive six hours round-trip but can't get guys five miles away to come down and work on executing better, more intense, realistic promos to engage the fans.  I have two dead, torn discs in my back, there are many nights I'd rather be home relaxing than spending six or seven hours trying to make the roster look as good as possible, as I was informed that Sunday night is the time independent wrestlers spend with their girlfriends.  Those are the guys that are going to remain "indy legends" for the duration of their careers - there are NO days off in this sport.  It comes down to how bad do you want it. . . we work seven days a week, holidays included, no matter how good or bad we're feeling, no matter what's going on in our personal lives, to create the best, most fan friendly, interactive live event experience possible.  And that's the end of it - at that point, it's up to the athletes to take over. . .I believe in the roster of superstars we have on September 17th. . . the fans there live are going to be in for a big time treat. . .

Great interviews with Low Ki (Kaval) and the lover of Popeye's fried chicken Paul Bearer are available online now (or will be shortly). . .check 'em out, free, online, on-demand, 24-7. . .the power of the internet. . .

The Countdown To MWF X mini-program on the front page of the site will replace the September 4th and 11th MWF Newsline videos - any breaking news will be right here on the Supersite. . .

The Tony Garea dynamic in the MWF Heavyweight Championship match is an interesting one.  We love the legends in the Millennium Wrestling Federation.  Garea held WWE Tag Team gold five times with four different partners when the tag titles were "prime time," so to speak.  Having him as the guest time keeper is great, however many are questioning if he has more of a motive than meets the eye.  He worked extensively with John Bradshaw Layfield in WWE, and Slyck Wagner Brown is the Uprising's pride and joy.  "Straight Edge" Brian Fury has to be prepared for anything and everything in this champion vs champion rematch from the first bout in MWF history all the way back in September 2001. . .

Some of the "Yard Sale" items are really cool.  Saw an Edge & Christian t-shirt from the early 2000's that's going to go for $6 (actually says "WWF.com" on the back!).  Ton of great shirts ranging from $1 to $8, along with our great selection of regular items at the MWF Merchandise table.  Big Ted will be there keeping an eye on everything as always - and one things for sure, you don't mess with Big Ted. . .

Best wishes go out to official Dan Tanaka, an all around great person and referee.  He suffered some health issues of late that he's discussed on his online social platforms.  We hope he'll at least be able to attend the event. . .

Happy to hear the voice of the MWF The Jackal will be at our 10th Anniversary Bash live September 17th. . .he's an MWF original, he's done so much for this company behind the scenes that you never hear about. . . .a true wrestling historian that the late Tony Rumble used to say would have been on all the A&E wrestling specials if he liked to dress in a suit.  His throat was almost destroyed at the hands of the "Stalker" (Dylan Kage) and his broadcast duties have been few and far between but we always keep the hope he's getting close. . .

Another crazy afternoon "running" around (would love to actually run around, as opposed to go to different places). . .trying to get things ready for our guests from Special Olympics, Big Brothers, Make-A-Wish, et al, a run to Staples, Target, the bank. . .it can be a tiring couple of weeks leading up to a big event like this. . . .

And it wouldn't be a BLOG without mentioning the behind the scenes turmoil about moving the MWF to the Carolina's on a full time basis.  As one half of the founding father of the MWF, I'm 100% against it.  I love the idea of running there a few times a year as long as there's a demand for the product (and the travel), but Boston is our home. . . we are Boston. . .we offer the most unique product in Boston wrestling. . . September 17th is going to be an awesome night, we're grateful for that, but September 18th could even be more interesting as the end results from MWF X could speak volumes about our future. . .

So. . .get those tickets now!!  Don't forget, if you want VIP Packages and/or discounted floor seats (with a discount merchandise coupon), you must order them by 11:59PM this Tuesday night, September 13th.  After that, the only way to get tickets is at Memorial Hall September 17th, where remaining floor tickets and all general admission tickets will be on-sale.  Save some money and get tons of perks. . .it doesn't make sense to me why anyone even getting one autograph and an admission ticket don't go for the VIP Packages, they're the best value in professional wrestling. . .check out the event page, see what you get, and tell ol' Mirade he's wrong!!

Be well, do something nice for someone in this world, put some positive karma out there. . . .so much negativity, let's be more positive people. . . big days are ahead fans, join us for the ride live at MWF X!!

SEPTEMBER 4TH - shaping up to be a long, wild night at MWF Studios.  Announcements aren't done yet, not by a long shot. . .instead of our weekly MWF Newsline videos the next two Sunday's, myself and new MWF columnist Charlie Taylor are expected to put together a MWF X Countdown mini-program that will be on the front page of the site along with the MWF X event page itself.  What a day for CT, it's one thing to sit at a computer and write, but tonight he starts "spring training" for our 10th Anniversary Bash!

Hearing about an interesting twist to one of the main events - once I get the OK tonight expect that announcement to be made. . .

Interested to see how the superstars in matches not announced for MWF X step it up the night of the event.  Everyone wants to make an impact at an event ten years in the making.  The roster for this one is top notch and I believe everyone on the card has a chance to really make a big time impression.  What they do with the platform given to them is up to them. . .

Lots of fans excited about the MWF Yard Sale!!  For those that have to manage the inventory of all of these shirts, etc., we are, too!!  With brand new WWE & TNA t-shirts starting at only $1 each, how can you go wrong??  There will be a wide variety of designs, superstars and sizes, what a way to start your Christmas shopping early. . .yet another reason to be with us live at MWF X. . .I think it will be fun. . .

Our friends at TNA sent a box of merchandise along (does finding one of those on your porch ever get old??).  We're going to be adding to the charity auction list, more to come on that tonight as well I believe. . .

I'm a big fan of the WWE documentary-style multi disc DVD sets and we're going to be having some great deals on those as well at MWF X.  $20, $25 regular prices??  Nope. . .

Might sound crazy (well, it is crazy) but work has already started on upcoming MWF live events while trying to get everything ready from A-Z for September 17th.  That's when the stress part comes into play. . .

If you haven't purchased your tickets yet, what on earth are you waiting for??  Where else are you going to get the best live professional wrestling in New England, a chance to get autographs and posed photos with our featured guests, take part in a variety of raffles, auctions where you can win prizes where YOU choose where the money goes, even an MWF Yard Sale!!  MWF X is an event, it's an experience - don't settle for cheap immitations, be where the superstars are September 17th!!  VIP Packages are without a doubt the best value in professional wrestling, we're running low, and the LAST day you can order them is Tuesday night, September 13th - after that they are no longer available.  Before every live event we have people contacting us after the cut off date, but the cut off date is there for a reason. Ditto on remaining floor seats - order in advance and save $5 off the price at the door the night of the event!!  All general admission tickets are on-sale at Memorial Hall only September 17th to make things a little easier on our end. . .it's going to be action and excitement galore, don't miss it!!

AUGUST 30TH - a few days away from the BLOG and look at the news pile up!!  With a lot of personal turmoil going on right now, I had the chance to escape to northern NH for a couple of days last week before Hurricane Irene hit, and it was a great chance to clear my mind despite the stress that lives on back home.  Can't believe we're only 18 days away from MWF X. . .feels like the end of one era and the beginning of a new one. . .there's certainly a power struggle going on behind the scenes, but be prepared to be blown away September 17th at Memorial Hall in Melrose!!

Our television advertising campaign launched during Raw last night, reaching hundreds of thousands of homes in the Boston area.  Ran into a bump in the road tonight with Smackdown going live and our commercials being booked for Friday night, but it was sorted out where we have more exposure on Raw this coming week - the "adventures" never end in ways the fans (luckily) never have to see or deal with.  It is without a doubt the best way to reach fans, new and old, as we get ready for a night of big returns, big surprises and big stories. . .an event, an experience a decade in the making!  If you haven't got your tickets yet, what are you waiting for??  Our VIP Packages are without a doubt the best value in professional wrestling and are available on-line through September 13th ONLY!!  We always have fans trying to get them after the cutoff date or at the door, but we have to cut them off a few days early as we do with every big event.  Don't wait until the last minute, get yours today. . .

"East Coast Cowboy" DJ Dubay may wind up putting his foot in his mouth September 17th (had to go there) as he will indeed be taking on WWE Hall of Famer "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas (with Bull Montana) one-on-one.  Dubay's insane video challenges have not gone unnoticed, and I think it's added value to his stock in the MWF either way.  When you see an athlete step up and rise to the occasion, those are the guys you want on your team.  Instead of posting Facebook messages about what he had for lunch, Dubay, as crazy as he may be, took it to the streets and got peoples attention.  At MWF X, he'll find out if it's the type of attention he wants.  With the line-up that's already announced and so many other superstars still waiting to find out who they'll compete against, everyone's pumped up. . .

Also announced our first ever MWF merchandise "Yard Sale," where we're going to be having some tremendous items on-sale at blow away prices.  Time to clean out the warehouse with new items headed in, and what a better place to give our fans great deals then our 10th anniversary bash??  Brand new t-shirts for as little as a buck??  Hey, one thing I've learned from having the little Mirade's around, you can NEVER start your Christmas shopping too early. . .

The countdown is on fans - again, we need your support if you want the Millennium Wrestling Federation to remain in Boston!!  This isn't "the boy who cried wolf" - we need you!!  We love NC but this is our home. . .we don't want to lose it. . .join us September 17th for a night you won't soon forget!!

* * * * *

AUGUST 23RD - a chance to breath!  Promised a blockbuster weekend of news and did we deliver. . .some good, some disappointing, all exciting!  Saturday, September 17th at Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA will go down as one of the biggest nights in MWF history, if not the biggest. . .

MWF X lost Al Snow due to what appears to be a scheduling issue.  Being an honest, classy individual, I interviewed him for about 15 minutes Sunday night and the video is available online now.  Was there any kind of computer sabotage involved with JBL's Uprising and Paul Bearer's Trifecta of Terror in the mis??  We really would have loved to have Al at this event, but that's the hand dealt to us.  Jay Lethal appears to be out as well due to Dylan Kage's kick causing neck damage and he was not cleared by MWF doctors; he also has ROH obligations.  We hate to disappoint the fans, and as a result, anyone that orders tickets by August 31st will receive a FREE Jay Lethal autographed photo.  The MWF doesn't live by the old "card subject to change" tagline.  If nothing else, better to hear about it now than the day of the event when we'd really be stuck.  As disappointing as it can be to the fans, it's just as hard as the MWF.  Believe me, the airlines aren't going to refund the $600 in wasted plane tickets we purchased, having to change the advertising on the site, etc., etc.  Luckily the TV commercial that will air on WWE Raw, TNA Impact, WWE Smackdown and MTV wasn't produced too far in advance, so we didn't have to change anything. . .those 2AM trips to MWF Studios aren't the most relaxing, let me tell you. . .

As a result of the aforementioned, one of the most interesting and wild superstars in MWF history returns at MWF X September 17th, that being The Boogeyman!!  He will be competing in the ring as well as taking part in the autograph / photo fanfest prior to the event.  His first (and only) Studio Shoot Interview DVD will be on-sale in Melrose, two and a half hours of the Boogeyman breaking down the walls of what life was like in and out of the ring in WWE.  Definitely check it out.  What will the worm loving Boogey be up to at Memorial Hall??

Get ready for more announcements this Sunday night. . . our good friends at WWE sent us a ton of new shirts, I came up with a pretty cool idea to present to the MWF Board of Directors that will hopefully get approved and just add to what will be an already incredible experience at MWF X.  VIP Packages are still on-sale now and will be through the cut off date of September 13th - after that, remaining floor seats and general admission tickets will be available at Memorial Hall September 17th. . .really can't believe how close we're getting!!  If you haven't got your VIP Packages yet, what are you waiting for??  Be in the front row and get $230 worth of stuff for one low, low price!

AUGUST 21ST - "big game Sunday," almost like the NFL is already underway. . .have been told to expect little sleep through mid-week as we're now less than a month away from MWF X Saturday, September 17th in Melrose, MA!  If you were amongst the 48,000+ at the Arrigo BBQ in Berwick, ME last night, you learned of the double main event at MWF X, otherwise, be prepared for a huge night of news tonight. . . .things are getting really interesting in these parts of the woods!!

* * * * *

AUGUST 18TH - "Wow". . . don't know how else to explain today's surprise meeting at MWF Headquarters in regards to MWF X September 17th.  This Sunday night is going to be one for the books.  Expecting:
-  The MWF X double main event to be announced
-  What could be a serious injury
-  One superstar out??
-  A new, bigger superstar in
-  Interviews with Al Snow & Paul Bearer

That's just the tip of the iceberg.  Since ex-President Cena removed himself from office, the MWF Board of Directors has stressed a "new" Millennium Wrestling Federation, that's what the fans and the athletes are going to be getting in just 30 short days. . . very interesting, to say the least. . .

* * * * *

AUGUST 16TH - today, without a doubt, goes down as one of the worst days of my life. . .never in my life have I been spit on and disrespected the way I was today as a human being.  Can't even start or I'll never stop. . . . . .it's nice to know who your friends are on a day like this, had some enhancing conversations today. . . . .it's hard to focus on MWF X with something like this exploding in your face, but you can't stop. . . .there are too many athletes, staff, fans, and especially the kids, who we have to give a tremendous night to. . . . a month from tonight will be MWF X-eve. . . .what a month it's going to be. . . .when this event is over, this is one I'm going to reflect upon, big time. . . .not good to walk around filled with so much anger and disappointment. . .

Superstar interviews coming this Sunday night. . .excited to see who and what we're going to talk to. . . .I'm big on the interview and hear what the superstars have to say themselves. . . .

SummerSlam Sunday was an interesting one. . .will never forget last years SummerSlam leading up to our anniversary event and the Daniel Bryan excitement / saga.  I have to say I enjoyed "East Coast Cowboy" DJ Dubay's challenge of "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas. . .like to see the athletes step up. . .I wouldn't exactly classify Dubay as a "superstar," but he has a pair to verbally put it out there to a big time WWE Hall of Famer like Atlas. . .

Isn't it ironic (or maybe not) that my little piece of business towards Dylan Kage took, oh, what, ten days to get online??  Had to be "reviewed."  I co-founded this company, old man Cena's gone, what's preventing me from having an MWF Southern Championship Match on September 17th??  Linda Mirade took my life and threw it in the trash, I've had my health destroyed by scumbags at Liberty Mutual, why not??

The MWF X main event was going to be announced at the Arrigo BBQ in Berwick, ME this weekend, but, Berwick isn't on the travel schedule this weekend. . . . .not at all. . . .big, exciting matches WILL be announced Sunday night though!!

VIP Packages are now on-sale. . .front row seats to the live wrestling event. . .autographs and posed photos with the superstars. . .VIP exclusive raffles that you don't have to pay a dime for. . ..think of what you can walk away with at MWF X!!  Floor seats are also on-sale now $5 off the price at the door.  Don't delay, get your tickets now. . .there's a strong force that wants us to go to North Carolina for good. . . help us keep Boston rockin'. . .

* * * * *

AUGUST 13TH - "action and excitement" at every turn.  Yesterday, spent the afternoon dealing with a new chapter of real life drama.  Business with Memorial Hall, contact with TNA, disagreements and trying to find middle ground over MWF X - can you believe we're only five weeks away??  HUGE night fans, do not forget that the VIP Package discount ends Monday night shortly after Raw goes off the air.  Get all of the VIP perks & save $$ - September 17th is going to be one for the ages!

* * * * *

AUGUST 11TH - another day of busy day here in the MWF.  I was interviewed by Mike McMahon of "The Mack Report" last night, which is available online now.  VIP Packages continue to move.  More "travel agent" work done to make sure the superstars of the Millennium Wrestling Federation get in and out of Boston next month.  Started work on "the book" - the bible of any MWF live events. . .the one that says. . ."Live Events Binder". . . if that binder could talk!

This Sunday night, we're going to be announcing at least one charity auction item where the winning fan gets to decide what charity the money goes to - I believe the options will be the Cauliflower Alley Club to benefit old time veterans of this great sport;  the Special Olympics, who we were named 2011 Partners of recently;  Big Brothers;  and Make-A-Wish.  I believe we'll have three auctions, with all items listed soon so you can save up for September 17th!  Between the auctions, raffles and exclusive VIP raffles, there are chances to win tons of great items.  MWF Superfan Jason Souza already has a FREE Blu-Ray DVD of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in "The Stranger" waiting for him in his VIP Package when he picks it up. . .

Don't forget, the discounted VIP Package rate goes into thin air this coming Monday night, August 15th - after that, it goes to it's regular price.  Why not save some money and lock yourself in at the same time??  You won't regret it!!

* * * * *

AUGUST 8TH - half asleep / half dead from a long weekend putting together an action packed event that benefited that South Robeson Rescue Squad in Fairmont, NC.  Was awake from Saturday morning at 9AM to just after midnight early this Monday morning.  Dedication!  If the power wasn't out when I got home, likely would have been up even later where there's so much going on. . .

Lucky winner of a Blu-Ray DVD edition of "The Stranger" starring "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - Jason Souza!  The DVD will be in your VIP Package when you pick it up at the door Saturday, September 17th in Melrose.  How did Jason win??  He helped the cause by getting his discounted tickets in advance.  Everyone who did the same by midnight last night had their name written on a Post-It for each ticket bought, put into a hat and we have a winner for a "pre-event" raffle.  Very good chance we'll do this at least one more time leading into the event. . .

If you somehow missed the front page of the web-site and/or this week's MWF Newsline video, multi-time WWE Champion, instructor for the first four seasons of WWE Touch Enough on both MTV and later Smackdown, now an agent for TNA, Al Snow (with Head) will be competing and taking part in the pre-event meet & greet LIVE at our 10th Anniversary Bash MWF X Saturday, September 17th in Melrose, MA.  Another huge addition from a great star and an overall great guy.  Snow's competed in the Millennium Wrestling Federation several times (including one of his favorite road stories in his career spanning several decades), even conducting seminars with our athletes when he ran WWE's developmental system at OVW.  After he parted ways with WWE, I recall saying what a huge mistake it would be if TNA didn't pick Snow up with so many younger guys on their roster that could benefit from direct interaction from him.  It's going to be great to see Al back in the MWF for our tenth anniversary. . .

As we've gone through some older MWF videos at the studio last night, decided we're going to try to put together some MWF classics over the past ten years. . . found a couple of interesting ones last night we're trying to get online this week.  With about 70 events, hundreds of tapes and thousands of hours of footage, there's no way we could even scratch the surface of what we have. . .

Don't forget the discounted VIP Package increases to it's regular price a week from today, Monday, August 15th. . .if you want to be part of one of our biggest events of all time with tremendous action in the ring, the chance to interact with your favorite superstars up close and personal, win outstanding prizes and so much more, get your VIP Package today!!  Next Monday, the VIP Package goes up in price, and remaining floor seats go on-sale.  Remember, even if you purchase floor seats, you can still take part in the meet & greet, you'll just have to purchase individual autograph / photo tickets at the fanfest able when you enter.  If you're planning on getting any autographs / photos, you'll get the most bang for your buck (literally) with a VIP Package, you get everything and bonuses other fans won't have the ability to win.  We'll also have general admission lodge seats on-sale at the door the night of the event (i.e. general admission will not be on-sale the night of the event). . .

I can't believe we're now less than six weeks away from MWF X. . .still so much work that needs to be done. . .

* * * * *

AUGUST 3RD - one of my favorite parts of putting the event (severe pun intended):  playing travel agent to get the superstars coming in back and forth.  Calls, texts, emails, trying to line-up and coordinate air travel for these guys.  Ughhhhh. . .combine that with the stress that comes along with Melrose. . . long day. . .

* * * * *

AUGUST 2ND - the list of superstars and legends of yesterday, today and tomorrow continues to grow, as Sunday night we announced that WWE legend Tony Garea will be making an ultra rare appearance at MWF X Saturday, September 17th in Melrose, MA at our 10th Anniversary Bash!  Garea still works within WWE, is without a doubt a future WWE Hall of Famer and a five time WWE Tag Team Champion (with four different partners!) in the days where the tag titles were of paramount importance.  What a tremendous opportunity for fans new and old to meet this legend, get the WWE Encyclopedia autographed, etc.  We know that Garea will be part of the autograph / photo fanfest, but even though he's long retired from the ring, will he play a role in the live event at all??

Also announced that any fans that purchase their tickets through this coming Sunday night, August 7th at 11:59PM will be entered into a special pre-event raffle where you can win a Blu-Ray DVD edition of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in "The Stranger" absolutely FREE!  It doesn't matter if you purchased your tickets the day they went on-sale or if you get them sometime Sunday, as long as the order has been placed by Monday, you're in!  We'll pick the winner and announce it on the August 14th MWF Newsline, and the winner can pick it up with their VIP Package at MWF X.  If you missed out on the VIP-exclusive Vince McMahon autographed WWE promo photo, here's a chance to win another great prize.  Another "thank you" to our great MWF Superfans. . .

This week will be a hectic one as we prepare to head back to the great state of North Carolina for ZERO TOLERANCE Saturday night.  What are some of the great charity auction items available at MWF X??  Who is the final superstar to be announced for MWF X??  Is he the last one??  So many questions. . .things are just heating up. . .Fairmont, NC. . .Berwick, ME for the Arrigo BBQ August 20th. . .then the big one. . . you can only turn ten years old once, and we're going to do it with a bang September 17th!  Get your discounted VIP Packages now - remember, the discount ends August 15th!!

JULY 29TH - the world of professional wrestling is mind blowing.  While preparing for ZERO TOLERANCE next Saturday and finalize the roster for MWF X September 17th in Melrose, all of the waiting erupted like a volcano over the past eleven hours. . .after our announcement this Sunday night about a WWE Legend coming to Melrose, we had likely one more spot for a major superstar that will both compete and take part in the meet & greet. . .

I've vented in this BLOG before about how stressful and frustrating it can be to play the waiting game when trying to put together a line-up, which makes the last eleven hours amazing.  Like the role of a general manager in baseball, you're constantly talking to people, trying to put together the best deal for the best talent to improve your roster and live events.  After coming to terms with the star we're going to announce Sunday, we had one slot open and were in discussions with three major league superstars, hoping we could make things happen with one out of the three. . .

Late night, got a 2:30AM text message with one of them that has unfinished business here in the Millennium Wrestling Federation.  He was ready to go to battle September 17th, however, not at 100%, he could only be part of tag team competition.  Wanting to give the fans only the best action possible, we decided to hold off on having him be a part of this event. . .disappointed, but the right thing for all involved as our athletes health is what's most important. . .

But the hits kept on coming. . . .heard from the second star at 10:30AM, and the third at 12:45PM today. . . "luckily", the third individual has a project on his plate that will prevent him from competing September 17th.  And the good news. . . .after all of these months, our 10:30AM contact was a big time thumbs up, which will round out our fanfest line-up of superstars and now allow us to put the event together.  Commissioner Von Johnson is going to be meeting with him shortly to iron out the details and we're going to have another Sunday night announcement coming your way - yeah!!

This event is going to blow the roof off of Memorial Hall in Melrose, on paper, it's going to be the biggest event in MWF history. . .the action, the superstars, the fanfest, the raffles. . .we haven't even gotten into the charity auctions yet!!  More matches to announce to go along with Low Ki -vs- "Hurricane" John Walters. . .it just keeps getting better and better. . . as I've said, we only turn ten years old once, so MWF X will indeed be our Big Bang Birthday Bash!!  Help us keep Boston as our home base;  tell your friends, family, anyone that's a wrestling fan to come on out and be part of this truly interactive experience.  Get your discounted VIP Packages today. . . lock in a front row seat while they're still available, and wind up saving hundreds of dollars if you were to buy everything separately. . . there is no competition, they are the best value in professional wrestling!!

JULY 28TH - another WWE Legend agrees to appear in Melrose September 17th, announcement coming this Sunday night!

* * * * *

JULY 25TH - 54 days and counting to the big one, MWF X, our 10th anniversary bash, Saturday, September 17th at Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA!!  Did you get your VIP Packages yet??  We'll have more news this coming Sunday, but we're going to be giving away Blu-Ray edition DVD of "The Stranger" starring "Stone Cold" Steve Austin!!  Another "thank you" to our Superfans. . .

It is official, Low Ki (Kaval) will take on "Hurricane" John Walters one-on-one at MWF X.  Fans, this match is going to be worth the price of admission alone.  You're going to see an intense battle between two of the finest professional wrestlers today, in their prime, looking to climb the championship ranks here in the Millennium Wrestling Federation as we celebrate our tenth year!  No matter where I am or what I'm doing that night, my intent is to stop whatever I'm doing and watch this match live and in person.  Ki is one of the best in the world, and when you think about it, it's really amazing that John Walters has never won an MWF title.  With his schedule taking him all over the country, it's sometimes difficult for Walters to appear at our live events, off the top of my head I can only recall him getting two one-on-one title shots (plus the out of this world 5-way match against Brian Fury vs Shelton Benjamin vs Tommaso Ciampa vs Eddie Edwards last fall).  Either of these men would hold an MWF championship with the pride and heart of a true champion, and a victory in this match could get them the chance to go for the gold in the near future. . .

With Ki vs Walters announced, the MWF X Line-Up page is taking shape, take a look at that roster of talent!!  From top to bottom, some of the best athletes known worldwide and around New England that are shooing for the stars themselves.  MWF X is truly going to be a special night.  If you're going to have a tenth anniversary event, you gotta do it right!!

Having some serious discussions with another WWE Legend that would be an extremely rare appearance, one that would really peak the interest of autograph collectors especially.  Hoping to work out a deal as soon as today. . .loving it!!  When something like this doesn't happen. . .not loving it!!

Really disappointed in one superstar that at one point was slated to be at the event, someone I think highly of personally. . . .just very disappointed. . .

Also got a scoop about an awesome item we're going to be doing a charity auction for at the event. . .not only can you win the prize, but you'll get to pick from one of four charities for the money to go to!!  We love to be able to give a helping hand to quality groups and people. . . with donations we've already made in 2011, we're getting close to hitting the $10,000 mark. . .will we make it September 17th??  Enjoy the event, open your hearts and own a great, rare prize. . .

Don't forget, the August 15th cut-off date for our discounted VIP Packages is fast approaching.  This is your chance to get the best value in professional wrestling and save what usually works out to a couple hundred dollars with all of the perks you get.  Guaranteed front row seat (until they sell out, then second row), where you're so close to the action you can feel it. . .one autograph from each featured superstar. . .one posed photo with each featured superstar. . .exclusive WWE autographed photo raffles. . .merchandise discounts and so much more!  Don't delay, get your VIP Package today!!  You absolutely will not regret it. . .we love you guys and Linda Mirade is adamant about giving you a night to remember. . .

* * * * *

JULY 20TH - after our staff meeting this afternoon, we're all under a gag order when it comes to certain things pertaining to MWF X September 17th.  I can say that another superstar announcement is coming on Sunday night, and not only the athlete himself, but the match he'll be competing in - have been told by both of these elite performers that it is the first time they have ever squared off in singles action.  Ladies and gentlemen, this is a match I would pay to see and am hoping to be able to "stop the presses" when the bell rings for their match at Memorial Hall so I can see it live.  The potential is there for it to be one of the greatest matches in Millennium Wrestling Federation history, on our 10th anniversary no less.  I think the wonderful Linda Mirade is going to throw everything possible against the wall between now and SOUL SURVIVOR VIII to keep the MWF in BOSTON full time.  We all love North Carolina, a few visits a year are great (believe me), but for better or worse, this is our home. . .on September 17th, our goal is to give you a night of in-ring action that will blow you away, surprises, interactive autograph / photo sessions, raffles and auctions for VIP's and all fans. . . .it's not about a wrestling event, it's about a complete "experience" from when you walk in the door until you head home for the night. . . .help the cause!  Get your tickets, tell your friends, you will not regret it!

* * * * *

JULY 16TH - the plot thickens by the day MWF Superfans.  Unexpected surprises at every turn.  With the Sheik's issues preventing him from being in Boston this weekend for the debut taping of "Late Night With The Iron Sheik" show, a lot has been thrown up in the air.  What announcements are going to be made tomorrow night??  Will there be announcements tomorrow night??  I know that I want fans outside of the Boston area to see the July Cyberstarz with the intense "Straight Edge" Brian Fury -vs- "Million Dollar Investment" Tommaso Ciampa Last Man Standing MWF TV Title Match. . .if that doesn't sell you on MWF X September 17th, I don't know what will!!

Cool story. . .as I was doing birthday shopping for the Little Mirade, I was confused to see if the different themed WWE Mattel figures were bigger than others.  Struck up a conversation with a kid maybe ten years old or so who was a help to me.  Asked if he lived anywhere near Melrose, said he'd actually been to MWF live events at Memorial Hall and checked out past MWF TV episodes online.  Had no idea who I was, but was a cool feeling. . .thanks for the 411 pal, I had no idea what I was buying!  My wrestling figure peak was during the LJN days in the 80's. . .

Just nine weeks away!!  Get your VIP Packages now!!

JULY 15TH - a WWE Hall of Famer is ready to make their MWF debut Saturday, September 17th at MWF X!  Brand new face is MWF bound, more details to come this Sunday as things heat up in the MWF with New Jack as a phone guest on the debut of "Late Night With The Iron Sheik"!

* * * * *

JULY 10TH - sometimes life just doesn't agree with you.  Longtime MWF fans know of my on-going physical ailments that have been extremely challenging to me since April, but that's part of the game, ask any athletes that steps through those ropes.  On top of the pain, you've got the pills, sleep all over the place, battles with insurance company's, etc.  So why can't just simple bookings be easy??  "Yes" or "no"??

I'd previously mentioned a superstar that I went on a Demolition Smash / Barry Darsow like manhunt for (another mini-piece of MWF history - when I was looking here, there and everywhere for Smash for an event back in 2004, I was given Road Warrior Animal's contact information.  I spoke to Animal, who said that Smash wouldn't be interested, but he would.  So, LOD Animal got the booking.  When I wound up finally getting in touch with Barry in late 2006, I was able to reunite the original Demolition - Ax & Smash - for the first time in 16 years WrestleMania 23 weekend in Windsor, Ontario, just outside of Detroit.  Later in 2007, we had Smash at an MWF live event, and at our post event party, he informed me that Animal NEVER even called him about the 2004 appearance.  What a friend!).  Once I spoke to superstar _____ about MWF X, he wanted in, then realized he was already booked September 17th.  A letdown anytime it happens. . .

We've talked a lot about "the new" MWF in recent weeks while still having to honor ex-President John Cena Sr.'s contracts.  Shocker here, baby.  The unexpected nice and easy. . .the second member that was nice and easy became harder to reach than Whitey Bulger.  Got a soft "OK" but to the MWF, that's not a "yes," and until we know 100% for sure a superstar has agreed to sign on the proverbial dotted line, we will not advertise them and risk letting you down, even if we are about 99% sure we're good to go. . .

Then other surprising things happen.  This morning, had a conversation with a WWE Hall of Famer about coming in and scouting for talent.  Didn't even run this one by the MWF Board of Directors as I thought it was a win-win for both the fans and our athletes.  Unfortunately, reviewed the date, and he's going to be out of the country scouting talent for WWE the day before and it would be impossible.  No problem and we hope to be able to bring you the opportunity to meet this legend in the near future.

As the day went on, heard from a friend within the biz about another WWE Hall of Famer that could be MWF bound September 17th. . .was hoping / expecting some info on that today. . ."but". . .makes me hum the Beach Boys song "Wouldn't It Be Nice". . .

JULY 8TH - with the countdown to MWF X, our 10th anniversary birthday bash, heating up, we're starting to share the stories that built the Millennium Wrestling Federation from day one.  Tonight, we posted the "Part One", check it out now and if you haven't, get those VIP Packages before those prices go up!!

As far as what we're excited about and working on, it's looking good!  We'll be stressed and anxious until we get the official word, but Vegas odds say it's happening. . .

* * * * *

JULY 2ND - excited.  Really excited!  This/close to putting a deal together for you guys for something so rare it's only happened two or three times in a decade!  Can't give you any hints as why disappoint you if it doesn't come to be??  But was just telling a semi-wrestling fan, one that was a die hard during the Monday Night Wars, and even he gave me a "wow."  This one doesn't even have anything to do with tomorrow's announcements!  We work hard for the fans everyday, holiday, no holiday, if the day of the week ends in "day," we're doing something. . .

Get those VIP Packages because the price is going to have to go UP!!

JULY 1ST - Happy 4th of July weekend!  Enjoy and be safe.  Some big, exciting news this weekend for fans headed to MWF X September 17th.  At least one more superstar announcement and a huge piece of wrestling history to be won by a lucky fan!  Videos coming this weekend. . .

The most difficult part of the process of putting together an event of this magnitude is getting the right superstars at the right price.  Was extremely excited to have someone new on board that really would have made an impact in the ring and fans would have enjoyed meeting but wound up having a conflicting appearance the same day.  That sets you on fire, especially after the manhunt we went through to find him.  Reached out to certain legends whose asking prices were just ridiculous.  Not to get on a soap box, but do these people realize what regional live events draw??  In the MWF, we try to be as fan friendly as possible, charging fans $100+ for a VIP Package isn't something we want to do, ever.  We don't want to have to charge fans $5 just for an 8x10 photo that you then have to pay to get autographed like they do at other fanfests (the only time we ever charge more than $1 is for official WWE / TNA promo photos that are expensive to obtain).  There are fanfests that go on in the tri-state area and down south that do charge over $150-$225 per person, but those are aimed more towards autograph collectors.  Our fundraising events are for everyone - for those that want to meet the stars personally, those that want great in ring action, to win awesome prizes, etc.  The last thing we want to do is be forced to charge so much to cover our costs that a kid can't meet a certain superstar because of the price.  If you guys only knew. . .

JUNE 24TH - all I can say is "wow," one of the big items we've got for the raffle that any fan in attendance can win arrived today.  You'll get a chance to see this one on the July 4th weekend Newsline video, it is one awesome wrestling collectible.  Again, this one is NOT a VIP exclusive like the Vince McMahon, Randy Orton and Sin Cara autographed WWE promo photos.  It is a raffle that anyone in the building can buy a raffle ticket for, that already includes the Miz WWE Over The Limit 2011 PPV chair and the autographed Iron Sheik ring worn tights.  All of this great stuff you can win, and we haven't announced the full line-up of superstars or any of the matches yet!!

This event is going to be so good, we can only do it once every ten years!  Get your MWF X VIP Package now!!

* * * * *

JUNE 20TH - so how 'bout them raffle items??  Did we let you down or what??  And there's very likely much more to come!  I'm sure we're going to get emails with requests asking about being a part in the "main event" item raffle, but as we've stated online for quite awhile now, June 19th was June 19th.  Still a TON of great items to be won with a VIP Package purchase - don't miss out on the next surprise, order your MWF X VIP Package today and be where the superstars are September 17th!

In a weekly Newsline video announcement you might have missed, the evil Ox Baker (2002-2005) returns to the Millennium Wrestling Federation in September.  Ox's evil Army created havoc everywhere they went. . .what does Ox have up his sleeve this go around??  Note, Ox is NOT part of the featured guests in VIP Packages, he'll likely have a (wide) variety of items available for sale but they are a separate fee.  Excited to have this grizzled vet back in the MWF along with the road agent Don Klein. . .

JUNE 18TH - what. . .a. . . .week!!  As we continue to put together the most extraordinary event in Millennium Wrestling Federation history to celebrate our 10th birthday September 17th in Melrose, we're talking to people here, there and everywhere!!  Tomorrow, as wrestling fans near and far celebrate Father's Day, we'll be at MWF Studios showing off some of the tremendous items that are going to be VIP-exclusives along with raffle items available to all fans.  We have never - ever - done anything like this before. . .we can't wait to see the looks on fans faces as they win these unbelievable prizes in many cases worth more than VIP Packages themselves!  Remember - you have to order your VIP Package by Sunday night, June 19th (i.e. tomorrow night) to qualify for the super-secret "main event" level prize we're giving away.  We're still going to have tons of stuff for everybody, but this is a very rare opportunity we're likely NEVER going to be able to bring you again, and we're extending the offer to fans that have supported this event through June 19th ONLY. . .we love all our fans, but the ones that help us in advance make life a lot easier and we want to do this for you. . . .

Talking talent. . . .two disappointing "no's" for MWF X. . . .one superstar will not be in the area in September, the other is trying to distance himself from professional wrestling as it's been sometime since he's been seen. . .would have loved to have had either or both, but this happens with every event, the fans just don't know about the day to day grind.  It's not a make or break type situation that's going to stop Memorial Hall from rocking all night long. . .I expect we'll be reaching out to other stars of the past for a "one night only" type appearance. . .

Enjoyed MWF Superfans responses to who they would like to see September 17th, some more realistic than others.  To bring in someone like Kurt Angle or Rob Van Dam, even if available, would cost us to raise the price of the VIP Packages and event tickets considerably, and we hate doing that.  Our goal is to give the fans the best bang for their buck, not make it near impossible for a kid to go to an event and not be able to meet a superstars they enjoy because of superstar X's appearance fee.  One of our "hall of fame" level fans requested Undertaker.  We don't discuss what stars ask for financially in public, but Undertaker has no interest in doing them and doesn't need the money.  He's the most expensive talent in WWE to do a signing with and we'd probably have to charge fans somewhere between $200-$300 for a combo for UT alone just to hopefully cover our expenses, never mind turn a profit for our hard work.  Again, we'd hate to see many disappointed young fans whose parents wouldn't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money.  Best bet to get him signed with a posed photo is to go to WrestleMania Fan Access - they have special VIP Packages that are $100 each and guarantees you one autograph and posed photo with a WWE main event star;  just have to make sure you go to the right one because there's only one main event star per Access with ten or so over the course of the weekend (i.e. you might get Cena, HHH, etc., instead of Undertaker unless they announce talent early).  Appreciate the feedback. . .

The time for talking is done (until tomorrow) - get those VIP Packages today. . .you're going to regret it tomorrow if you don't.  Hint??  Hmmmmm. . .this rare item is something that very few wrestling fans in the entire world own because ____________ . . .yeah, that's all you get until tomorrow night!!

JUNE 12TH - greetings MWF fans!  Will this cold, raw June Sunday go down as a day of history here in the Millennium Wrestling Federation with President John Cena Sr. expected to step down from his post, or will he throw everyone a curveball??  Yesterday, we announced that in five weeks, we're going to have a Sheik-end, where fans can purchase private lunches with the Sheik as well as have him attend a WWE Money In The Bank PPV Party at your home.  On July 17th, we're also going to be having a special charity autograph / photo session with him at MWF Studios as our 10th anniversary summer heats up!!

With that out of the way, let's get to the good stuff when it comes to MWF X:  The MWF's 10th Anniversary Birthday Bash - once we're past all of the Cena issues next Sunday, we're going to "wow" you on Father's Day!!  Raffles, auctions and giveaways like you've never seen before at an MWF event.  It's almost going to be too much.  SOUL SURVIVOR is annually our biggest event of the year, but we only have a 10th anniversary one time and we're going to truly make it a "Birthday Bash!"  We're headed to the WWE TV tapings this weeks, and fans, you will not believe what we're going to have for you at this event. . . .it's going to be professional wrestling heaven on earth. . . .

One thing I cannot stress enough - if you know you're going to be with us September 17th at Memorial Hall in Melrose and are going to get a VIP Package, get it this week.  This week.  Why??  In addition to all of the perks VIP's get, we're going way above and beyond this time.  Anyone that purchases a VIP Package by next Sunday, June 19th will be put into a special, limited free raffle for an item that will blow your mind.  We don't have it in our hands right now so I'm not even going to hint, but like I said, we're headed to the WWE TV tapings this week thanks to our friends at WWE and once we have this item, you're talking about having really good odds at winning something that's worth at least $100 or so.  Never mind the fact that VIP's are guaranteed a front row seat to the event (limited supply left, we'll start offering guaranteed second row seats shortly), you get an autograph with each featured superstars, a posed photo with each featured superstar, and so much more!  MWF X is the first event that's for EVERYONE, for our superstars, our hard working staff, and most important, the MWF Superfans that have helped make us keep plugging away since 2001!

Again, get your VIP's asap - we're working on three different free VIP-exclusive "thank you's" that will be worth the price of admission alone, literally.  Plus, we have a ton of other tremendous raffle and auction items to go along with a hot night of in-ring action.  I can't wait for September 17th!!

JUNE 9TH - we're now just 100 days away from MWF X:  The MWF's 10th Anniversary Birthday Bash - might seem like a long time, but believe us, that's nothing!  As noted on our Facebook and Twitter accounts that in addition to lining up some of the top superstars in this great sport to appear live, we are working on some HUGE items for both VIP's and all fans attending the events.  If you've been to an MWF live event before, you know about the rare autographed items from WWE superstars and legends, posters, WWE PPV chairs and so much more!  Once we get these items, what do we do with them come event day??  Do we auction them??  Do we raffle them??  Do we put them in VIP Packages??  This might be the most exciting event we've ever put together a decade of action and memories.

If you haven't purchased your VIP Package as of yet, click on the link above and order away.  They are, without a doubt, the best value in professional wrestling!  You'll never get so much for your wrestling dollar.  If you order now, you can still lock in a guaranteed front row seat with your name on it as there are a few remaining.  Be inches away from the action, get an autograph and posed photo with each featured superstar, all kinds of bonus items, you will not regret it.  We're throwing around some ideas for a special "thank you" to VIP's ONLY!  As you likely know, VIP Packages are sold online and are cut off several days before our events - you guys are a big time help to us and we're this/close to being able to offer you something really great.  Please, spread the word so we have a packed house in Melrose in September.  The more fans we have, the more we grow, the more live events and superstars we can bring you!

On a side note, you're running special eBay auctions to help the tornado victims in western Massachusetts as we speak - get a four pack of autographed photos from Shelton Benjamin, Paul Bearer, Jay Lethal and ROH World Champ "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards starting at only $19.99!!  If you were at our Bridgeport, CT event, this package would have cost you $44 - here, 100% of the proceeds after the eBay fees will be donated to the Red Cross.  Pretty cool to be able to show those that don't love this sport as much as we do that both wrestling promotions and our fans can do a lot of good!!  We were able to raise a nice chunk of change for the Red Cross after the tsunami in Japan earlier this year, but this time, let's help out our neighbors who had their homes and lives torn apart in an instant. . .

JUNE 6TH - if you didn't join us in Bridgeport for our CT event this Saturday night, you missed a hot night of action at the Shehan Center and a new MWF Heavyweight Champion crowned as "Slyck" Wagner Brown of JBL's Uprising became the first 2-time champ defeating Shelton Benjamin 1-2-3 in what some are calling an upset.  If that wasn't enough, it appears that President John Cena Sr. is out of the Millennium Wrestling Federation but is up to "something" before he officially says farewell this Sunday night.  It's getting more interesting by the hour!

Look for big time MWF X:  The MWF's 10th Anniversary Birthday Bash updates on Father's Day Sunday, June 19th!  Get those VIP Packages now as we have some great stuff headed your way fans!!  This could be the most memorable night in a decade of the MWF. . .

MARCH 27TH - here we go again!  Our long running live event BLOG's will go down in MWF history, and it continues on for MWF X:  The MWF's 10th Anniversary Birthday Bash!

Ten years!!  Ten years??  Are you kidding me??  Where has the time gone??  A decade of the Millennium Wrestling Federation is upon is, and we're gonna rock Memorial Hall Saturday, September 17th and have an ending for the ages. . .

While we were busy promoting SOUL SURVIVOR VII, little did you guys know we were hard at work for MWF X (yeah, the roster of superstars is pretty much already set).  Don't jump the gun, let it all unfold. . .

At SSVII we were all disappointed when Carlito took ill in Mexico and was unable to make it to the big event.  Despite a stint in the hospital, he tried to fly standby to Boston, but by the time he was going to get on a plane, he would have never made it to the event (see Carlito's Twitter).  Unlike some that have purposely let down the fans, whether you love him or hate him in the ring, you have to respect that.  As a result CARLITO is the first superstar announced that will compete at MWF X and take part in the pre-event meet & greet!  It's gonna be "cool". . .

Fans that purchased SSVII tickets in advance will receive a special ticket offer this week to purchase VIP Packages at a special discounted price and "thank you" for March 19th. . .if you were at SSVII and got your tickets at the door, we have no way to verify you were there unfortunately.  The MWF prides itself on giving it's fans the best value in professional wrestling and love to take care of our loyal fans as we continue to grow in expand.  Get on our Superfan list of folks that purchase tickets in advance and take part of the perks!!
